Sony FS5

I purchased the FS5 fairly recently. It is a fantastic documentary camera. It is capable of 4K and 240FPS at 1080. (I have been using this like crazy.)

It is just over two pounds which is incredible for the amount of camera you get.

Sony a6300

This is an amazing little camera. This Sony was my first step into the Sony ecosystem. For a crop sensor and an older version at that, it is truly a powerful system. Shooting 4K at 30 FPS and 1080p at 120FPS.

*Note: It does not send 120FPS through hdmi to record externally.

Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens

Canon has amazing glass. The 24-70 f2.8 is my workhorse of a lens. It is a great medium lens. If I could only take one lens with me on a trip, it would almost certainly be this lens.

Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Lens

This is my current telephoto. I will be completely honest if I could do this over again I could probably go with the 70-300 or the 100-400. Yes, you give up some light which is a big deal in certain scenarios but with the amount of wildlife work I do and am continuing to do the longer range could be very useful.

Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Lens

I love this lens. It is a little soft around the edges when shooting at wide open but it is neatly a wide-angle macro. You can photograph items just a few inches off the lens to provide a very interesting perspective.

Metabones Canon EF/EF-S Lens to Sony E Mount T Smart Adapter (Fifth Generation)

A great adapter that provides all the electronic communication I need between my sony bodies and canon lenses. I have heard good things about cheaper ones but I love not having to worry about it failing. This is a trusted brand and so, for the time being, I will stick with them.

I can not say enough good things about this lav recorder. To start it records on board so there is a 0% of getting any kind of interference like with other wireless lavs. It also allows you to record a safety channel that is -6db so if someone gets loud all of a sudden you are safe.

Tascam DR-70D

A perfect audio recorder if you are not always available to monitor your levels. You can set a channel to record at -12bd in case what you are recording gets loud all of a sudden.
